【Indication】

This product is used to control nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy and radiation therapy; It is also suitable for the prevention and treatment of postoperative nausea and vomiting.

Children: Children over 4 years of age: Control nausea and vomiting from cancer chemotherapy and radiation. Children younger than 4 years: Control nausea and vomiting from cancer chemotherapy. Children 2 years and older: Prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting after surgery.

【Usage and dosage】

1. Nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy and radiation therapy

This product can be intramuscular injection and intravenous injection.

For adults (nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy and radiation therapy): The usual dose used before radiotherapy and chemotherapy is 8mg, which is used as follows: Injection solution: Immediately before treatment (not less than 30 seconds) intravenous or intramuscular injection of 8mg of this product.

Two additional intravenous or muscular doses of 8 mg, or a constant rate intravenous infusion of 1 mg/hour, may be administered at intervals of 2 to 4 hours after the first administration of this product for 24 hours.

Continued treatment (to prevent delayed or delayed vomiting): The next day take oral preparations such as 8mg tablets of this product every 12 hours for 2-3 days, possibly up to 5 days.

2. Nausea and vomiting after surgery

Adults: For the prevention of nausea and vomiting after surgery, a single dose of 4mg should be administered intramuscular or slowly intravenously at the same time as the induction of anesthesia. Another method of administration is a single oral dose of 16mg 1 hour before anesthesia.

For the treatment of postoperative nausea and vomiting that has occurred, intramuscular injection or slow intravenous injection of a single dose of 4mg is recommended.
