【Indication】

Cefuroxime axetil dry suspension is used to treat the following infections:

(1) Larynx (2) sinuses (3) middle ear (4) lungs or chest (5) urinary tract (6) skin and soft tissue

Cefuroxime axetil dry suspension can also be used to treat Lyme disease (an infection transmitted by ticks).

【Usage and dosage】

Adults: The recommended dose for cefuroxime axetil dry suspension is 250 to 500mg twice daily, depending on the severity and type of infection.

Children: The recommended dose of cefuroxime axetil dry suspension is 10mg/kg(up to 125mg) to 15mg/kg child body weight (up to 250mg) twice daily, depending on :(1) severity and type of infection and (2) weight and age of the child, up to 500 mg daily.
